Mrs. Deborah Miller is Owner and Director of Little Wonders. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and carries over 33 years of experience within the child care industry. She is married to Mr. Tim, her husband of 33 years, and together they have one daughter who attends BGSU. Debbie opened Little Wonders on January 30, 2001. She believes that Early Childhood Education and quality child care are very important. By strongly believing in the mission of Little Wonders, she ensures each child that walks through the door finds a safe, constructive, and enriching environment in which to learn and grow.
Ms Jenna has been with Little Wonders for almost 8 years, and is currently one of the Lead Toddler Teachers. She has plenty of valuable experience with children, as a teacher and a mother! She is currently attending Owens Community College for Sonography. She values true friendships and love when parents get involved with their children at daycare. She is getting married in October 2015, and some of her favorite things include summer, the color purple, and puppies!
Ms. Tiffany has been with Little Wonders for the past 3 years, and is currently one of the Lead Toddler Teachers. She has experience in management, as well as working with Toddlers and Grade School students. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently attending The University of Toledo to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband and their daughter, Mayla. She also likes to travel and enjoys couponing.
Ms. Tara is the Lead Teacher for the JumpStart Preschool Room. She has been with Little Wonders since 2001, and has worked in childcare for 20+ years. She also has a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite color is pink and she loves volunteering as a youth leader at Hope Community Church in Oregon, where she has served for the past 14 years. Her family is very important to her and she loves spending time with them.
Ms. Lori is the Assistant Teacher for the Preschool and Toddler Rooms. She started working at Little Wonders in May 2005. She states that, “It is fairly easy to become a daycare teacher. What is not so easy, however, is becoming a teacher who consistently works to nurture the children and encourage them to grow.” She is strongly committed to making sure each child’s experience at Little Wonders is a positive one. She also likes to swim, camp, fish, and ride bikes with her son that is going into 7th grade.
Ms. Christy is one of the Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teachers and has been with Little Wonders since 2001, and has been teaching for the past 20 years. She has her B.A. in Elementary Education and is also certified to teach K-8. She has also taken many courses in Child Development in order to add Kindergarten to her certification areas. Her favorite color is purple and she loves reading, cross stitching, and traveling (she really likes Hawaii!) She has been married to her husband, Jeff, for 12 years. She has one cat named Annabelle and three dogs, whose names are Nellie, Cullen, and Sunny.
Ms. Stacy is currently the Assistant Teacher for the Infant Room. She has been with Little Wonders for the past 8 years. She graduated from Waite High School in ’04. She also has 2 boys, ages 10 and 1. She enjoys taking her children to the park and playing with them outdoors. She loves outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Olivia has been with Little Wonders since 2003 and is currently the Lead Preschool Teacher. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of positions throughout the Center and has 14 years experience working with children. She is currently attending Owens Community College to obtain her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is working towards her B.A. in Education for K-8. She loves fishing, camping, boating, and reading. She has three children, ages 14, 10, and 8. A fun fact about Ms. Olivia is that she was born and grew up in Alaska. Her goal is to be a teacher that is a combination of Ms. Frizzle, Mary Poppins, and Indiana Jones!
